Film & TV Language: Cinematography practical task

 This scene depicts a guy walking to his partner , when she suddenly breaks up with him and causes him to go in a drunken rage full of heartbreak. There is intentionally blur to demonstrate how his memory from the night is impaired and shakiness to also how to show an unprofessional look - showcasing his anger and how he cannot handle the situation. Clips are also cut up to be disorientating for the audience ; jumbled and not in order to purposely show that he cant perfectly recollect what happened and like snippets of memories. The last clip is purposely clear to show that it has ended and he must accept it.

 The Use of the song 'run' by Joji: -This was used with the space imagery as it speaks about wanting to escape a relationship- similarly to escaping Earth( parallel with first half of the video),furthermore the second half is contrapuntal as it shows the current state of what we live in and how we no longer feel the need to 'escape' , accepting man-kind and technological advance as the death of nature without our universe.
