Film & TV Language: Sound video feedback and learner response
1) Type up your feedback from your teacher.
Good editing,Good meaning behind song - lyrics matching video, however use more clips and one clip extended for too long
2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarize key points if several students give you similar feedback.
-good editing
-good use of song
- clear use of parallel and contrapuntal
- good quality of videos
- add transitions
- few clips
3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' (EBI) underneath the rest of your feedback.
I believe i had a good idea with a song that was expressed clearly with the first half of the clip- i tried to use good quality clips and my editing was good, and also a clear use of parallel and contrapuntal. However even better if i add more transitions and added an extra clip at the end
4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video?
-Frankie
-Neev
-Jasneet
I think Frankies is the best as it use a variety of, clips, editing is good and the use of contrapuntal and parallel sound paired with the opposing images work very well

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?
That the theory behind contrapuntal and parallel sound can be very empowering to an audience and setting an underlying tone behind a certain meaning. This use of discreet meaning can create more of an impact on the audience then just stating the obvious behind it.
